It depends on the room — and we sell all three, so you’ll get the honest answer. Rule of thumb: hardwood for living spaces you’ll own for decades, LVP where water happens, laminate when budget leads. Come compare them side by side.

How to Choose Luxury Vinyl

Wear layer: 12 mil for light-traffic rooms; 20 mil or more for kitchens, entries and pets.
Core: rigid SPC/WPC for most homes — it hides minor subfloor flaws and resists dents.
Plank size: longer, wider planks look more like real hardwood and show fewer seams.
Visual and texture: look for embossed-in-register texture that follows the printed grain.
Underlayment: attached pads add comfort and quiet; confirm they're rated for your space.
