Crow Hill Hardwoods started in 1992 with a simple idea: sell flooring worth standing behind, install it like it’s going in your own house, and treat every customer like a neighbor — because around here, they are. Thirty-plus years later we’re still family-owned, still on Main Street in Marcellus, and still measuring success one floor at a time.
We’re a true direct-to-consumer shop: the person who helps you choose your floor is connected to the people who install it, and everyone answers to the same family name. No call centers, no subcontractor roulette, no fine print.
Our showroom shares the corner at 2 W Main St with Milkhouse Roastery — so make a morning of it: coffee in one hand, flooring samples in the other. We’re open Monday–Friday, 10am–4pm, and consultations are always free.
Mike Foster opened Crow Hill Hardwoods in 1992 with a simple idea: sell good flooring, install it right, and treat every customer like a neighbor — because in a village like Marcellus, they usually are. More than thirty years later the shop is still family-owned, still on Main Street, and still run on handshakes, written estimates and doing what we said we’d do.
Over those decades we’ve refinished floors in Syracuse bungalows, restored plank floors in farmhouses around Marcellus and Auburn, installed wide-plank oak in Skaneateles and Cazenovia lake homes, and supplied builders and designers across Central New York. The Syracuse Post-Standard once featured the shop under the headline “You Can Walk All Over His Product” — which we still take as a compliment.
